Roberta Koehl is the Founder and Managing Director of Marina Financial Funding and Windhorse Estates. Roberta started as a Commercial Loan Officer in 1987 with Marina Mortgage. Then, opened Marina Financial Funding in 1990 to offer residential loans in addition to commercial loans. In 2017, Roberta opened a sister company, Windhorse Estates to provide real estate sales to her clients.
Roberta has been written up in many publications including Century City News, The Argonaut, The Jewish Journal and several other local papers who praised Roberta Koehl for her savvy business sense, integrity and fair operating principles. Roberta was awarded the Who’s Who in Business in 1996 and was featured in Westlake Magazine in the “Successful Woman’s” edition in 2009. Roberta takes her clients' financial needs personally, which is why she has a high closing ratio. In one of the many interviews she gave for the business community, Roberta said, "I believe there are always opportunities in every market and every situation. Success depends on your ability to recognize and profit from those opportunities. No matter what state the economy is in, find the niche and address it."
Roberta received her insurance license in 2006 to provide premium financing for high net-worth clients, life insurance, life settlements, annuities and retirement.
Along with her analytic brain, Roberta is an inventor and creative problem solver. She is currently working on two projects for the medical and beauty industry.
Roberta’s passions are horses, animals, nature and children's welfare.
